A Brief History
Colorado Country Music Club was started in August 1993 by Ann and Billy Barrett with the help and support of Martin and Heather Smyth.
The club runs on the third Saturday of the month in Ards Rangers Football Club,Portaferry Road, Newtownards Co Down.
Only £4 at door...
Dance Class
The dance class started shortly after and runs on Monday nights from 8pm to 10pm.
Our dancers are a great bunch and love nothing better than a good night out. Whether it is in their own club, or in anyone else’s, most people would agree they always have a great time.
Over the years some great friendships have been made and have really stood the test of time.

Sponsor Day
Each year we hold an annual sponsor day in May which involves a lot of hard work and dedication from everyone involved but is also great fun. We have raised approximately £95,000 so far so with your help we would love to try and reach £100,000 this year. All money raised stays in Northern Ireland, Our dancers nominate the charities chosen and all have been for very personal reasons.
Christmas Dinner
The club hold a Christmas Dinner each year in December. This is always a great night out with everyone really getting into the “Christmas Spirit” in more ways than one.
The “Colorado Cabarets” have become legend on Sponsor Days and Christmas covering everything from Elvis to World War 2. They are always so funny and enjoyed by the participants just as much as the audience.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank so many people who have helped and supported us over the years.
To our Dancers and their families, everyone who attends and supports the Club, All the Groups who have entertained us and have become friends, everyone who has entertained us in the cabarets, the Committee and Bar Staff in Ards Rangers, the girls who sell the ballots, the singers who sing each month for charity, all who have donated ballot prizes over the years and to anyone we have forgot to mention.
It is not said often enough but without each every one of you the Club would not be the place it is.
